MPC1000 JJ0S 2XL & Logic 8

Hi Guys,

Have been trying to sync my MPC 1000 JJOS 2XL to Logic 8 using the tips on the forums to no avail

Just wondered if somebody can provide basic settings for both the MPC and Logic, to sync the MPC to logic so pressing Play/Stop etc, on the MPC controls Logic the same way.

Mpc Settings

Mode and pad 9 (sync)

F2 for sync

At the top of the page, change sync in, from off, to 1 (slave)

Logic Settings

Go to settings at the top of page, Go to synchronization

Open up the midi tab, Make sure transmit midi clock box is checked, and change the off, to the name of your midi device you have plugged in,


These settings work for me, I have a midi to usb cable witch goes from my mpc, right into my mac via usb,
