Calling all 2500 JJ2xl users

Hi 2500 owners. I have often wanted to upgrade from the 1000 (jj2xl) to the 2500 for the extra q-links, tilt screen and extra outs.

However, what’s stopping me is that jjos 2xl only lets you use one q-link at a time. Aren’t you as owners completely gutted that a massive, flexible, hands on, fun feature of your machine has gone? It’s not such a big loss on the 1000 as it only has 2 q-links.

Is it still possible to get JJ os2 now for the 2500? I notice its been removed from the JJ site? Does OS2 let you use all four q-links independently?

Even if someone had OS2, would a new 2XL password for a 2500 still enable OS2 to work?

I'm not sure whether you can just buy JJOS2, but I know there are posts in this forum that'll give you your answer. If you buy JJOS2XL you can use any and all of the JJOS versions at your pleasure, I think... best do some forum searching.

I personally don't use the q-links, but I shall endeavour to start using them now I rek. I have JJOS2XL.. I used the q-links some with JJOS2... yeah.. all q-links are available with JJOS2.

Q-links are one of the best features in my opinion. It's a massive shame that XL has messed them up.

I only use the Qlinks for track tuning, sample editing and midi cc.
