Samples slowly fading out while looping?

First off, I want to apologize if this has been asked a lot. I didn't know how to search for it.

I'm using JJ OS2 v 1.22.

I have a loop I want to keep going forever but it slowly fades out, eventually ending up completely silent. I have 'Loop On' set from the Trim screen and have it set to One Shot.

I appreciate any advice.

Sounds like you have an envelope applied to your looped sample.

The default Amp envelope found in the program page is set to 3 (A), 0 (D), 100 (S), --- (R). This seems like it should be right to me.

For continual loops you can do this with note on samples: hit the pad,then press numeric key before releasing the pad.hit the pad again to stop the loop.

I'm sorry, can you elaborate, specifically on what you mean by "press numeric key." Thanks.

numeric key on the 1000, try track mute on the 2500.

it tricks the mpc into not sending a note off message when you hit the pad.so the sample plays continually.


1.assign a looped sample to a pad.
2.set to note on
3.hit pad (and keep holding pad)
4.hit numeric key or track mute key
5.release pad

result:sample loops until you hit the pad again.
