Loading samples on JJ 3.07 *yes I read the manual*

I'm trying to load samples .wav from my Mac. I used MPC PAD 187, I dropped samps to pads, exported with .pgm. Mounted MPC, loaded Cass808.pgm w/samples. It shows all the samples, but non sound off when triggering the related pad. It shows each sample on the assigned pad, but no sound. Any ideas what I did wrong?

did some testing last night, shortening the characters etc. These samples will not load. I cleared the whole card, pulled a few of the autoloads, no issue there. For some reason it does not like these .wavs. I can get them to trigger in MPC 187, instructions mention if they load in the app just as they do in the MPC. So I'm at a loss as to what the issue is.

are you sure they are 16-bit? if they are not, you will see them in the load screen but they will not load and you will hear no sound while playing a sample in the load screen....
Try audiomove https://public.msli.com/lcs/audiomove/index.html to make sure you converted all sample to WAV 44,1KHZ 16bit fixed rate...
