Just cop'd a 1000, which version of JJOS should I install?

I read all the threads on which version everyone thought was 'the best' but which one would be a good starting point. I'm going to pay for a key so want to make sure. This is my first 1000, came from a 2000. I'm leaning towards OS2, is that a good starter choice?

EDIT: Gonna go with OS2, this thing has v3.08 already on it. Can I just download "mpc1000_jv126.os2" and upgrade from 3.08?

No, you have to install os1 and pay it before. From os1 you can install os2 without paying it so you'll see which one fits your worflow better.
