Repurchase JJOS password after HD install?

I would bet my bottom $ this question has been asked before, but my search efforts yielded nothing. My question is either too specific or I didn't search the right string.

I am going to buy the HD kit today and a HD, or possibly the SSD mod, and I wanted to know if the install would affect JJOS 1? I still have the password and what not, but will installing a HD require me to reinstall JJOS, or is this a non-issue? And while we're at it, if for some reason I had to reinstall JJOS for whatever reason, can I use this same password and .bin file or would I need to purchase another password?

Word... now order them blue pads, HDM-10 and a HD. I want the wood end caps to match my Korg D3200, but $68 for two pieces of wood, routed, sanded and stained is a killer. If I could make a template with my stock end caps, I could churn the shit out of some custom end caps and not tax like MPC Stuff does!
