ok so i know that i can control the poly, mono, and group cuttoffs with target pads etc...but i have all these settings set to poly and no mute groups....for some reason if i try to push any pad repeatedly, it mutes out the pad i have my sample set to which cuts the sample out????? i have everything set to poly and no mute groups are set...this is really starting to annoy me as i try to play along with my sample and it cuts out....sucks man...why would it just cut out the sample pad automatically with no groups set and everything at poly? i couldnt have reached poly phonic limit of the mpc with just drums and 1 sample pad playing have i??? the drums are slightly layerd but....HELP???....WELL ACTUALLY I JUST TRIED TO SET them to mono and it doesnt do this....so does that mean i reached its limit???? shit....

If you set it all to mono and it didn't cut out then maybe yeah, when you set everything back to poly and it cuts out again, you've reached that limit.

What is it like 32 voice polyphony.
1 channel (l+r) = 1 voice (mono sample).
2 channels (l/r) = 2 voices (stereo sample).
