Hiya!

I can't find any info anywhere that's why I'm asking ...which JJ OS let You Slice samples( in Convert window : SLICED SAMPLES ,RELEASE etc.) in STEREO not in MONO -I have 3.08 version (free one) and there is no option to receive STEREO samples assign to all 16 pads (if about automatic slicing)-I know that You can do it by extract slice after slice but I'm asking about automatic slice (CONVERT mode) Do You have this option in os1 4.99 version ? I want to upgrade my JJ OS to that ver. but I need to know that it allows me to receive STEREO SLices
many thanks for any reply

the 1000 with jj os 3.09 automatically stereo chops...there is no need to set it up or whatever...you can after convert your stereo in to mono from either left or right or both channels after in the edit screen. there is no auto pad assign i dont think...you just have to save the chops as individual files and manually load them to the pads you choose.

20.Downside to slicing is that it converts stereo to mono. Also you cannot apply edits like reverse to each slice while in the slice screen like you could with the XL.

...is it possible in 3.09 ver of JJ or any higher version to change the way of slicing (no mono but stereo auto-slice like it is in 2000XL) ?????

ok i see what you are saying...its because you are converting to a patched phrase....its better to find chops on your own instead of using autochop. all auto chop seems to do is divide up a patched phrase which is i believe mono. find your chops yourself and you wont have to worry bout them turning into mono.

:) no..I'm not talking about the patch phrase -thre is a window EXTRACT with 2 options: Sliced sample(something like that) you have a RELEASE and CREATE A NEW PROGRAM options in it and the second one is patched phrase--but I'm focus on SLICED not on PATCH--which turn Your STEREO sample into sliced mono samples :)
