jj os add this feature

i was always an sp12 and 1200 man obviously the mpc is now more powerful but ive never liked the mpcs multi mode and ive been programming drum machines since 1983!! if jj os could add a feature like the sp1200 when your in multi mode it can show you velocity and tune, decay whatever... on screen for each seperate pad that you could seperately retune while in multi like on the sp1200 that would be absolutely dope!!! you could do mantronik style edits and shit much easier with better flair also they should put the quantize resolution up to 96 i dont know why akai thought to only go up to 48 th note triplet when every drum machine thats ever been created has always gone up to 96 as a drum programmer it can piss you off when they start to restrict something after 25 years when they should be goin forward im not complaining too much though i got a better os than the original akai os!!!!! on the mpc 2500

All MPC's are 96 ppq, OR MORE. And the "16 levels" function does exactly what you're talking about with the velocity ad tunes levels. Nice shout out to Mantronik though, he was DOPE

If you want 96 ppqn quantization just turn quantization to OFF.

...and double the tempo for 192ppq
