i understand song mode now and how to convert it to wav. my problem is making the beat breaks. i have a full beat on sequence 1. i know how to copy and paste it to sequence 2. so now that i have pasted it, how do i make beat breaks? i only want to take out some drums at certain times on seq 2 and then have seq 1 come back in playing the full beat again. like half way through seq2 i want the drums to stop and right before seq 1 comes back in i want the snare to smack. thanks guys.

ps im runnin the jjos1

Go to the track(s) that have your drums hit overdub and play, hold the erase key and the pad you want removed from the sequence (eg) if you want to remove your snare hold erase and the pad that has your snare. And so on

SAVED!

i have a feeling that pic will definitely come in handy here in the future.

I thought the exact same thing...

You can't just say you read the manual. You actually have to take some time to get to know how your equipment works... and actually read the manual.

i don't need that complicated stuff.. when i want a break from the beat i just turn the volume down for a while , then turn it back when my break is over..

The functions that you read about in the manual, use them creatively to get your breaks where you want them to be, use that brain and come up with something good.

Read and understand what the functions do, then YOU, you have to be creative and use those functions.
