MPC 1000 Audio Tracks?

I've got a couple questions about the audio tracks

1. Is it possible to loop an audio track, say I have a loop that is only 2 bars long is it possible to copy and paste it to fit a 4 bar sequence.

2. Is it possible to punch in record using the audio tracks, or do I have to start the recording from the start of my sequence every time?

Thanks. I do have XL, and I just DL the manual and found the answer to my questions. Page 19,20,21.. These features are real helpful, I'm recording vocals into my mpc, and using it as a multi-track recorder.

I've wanted punch-in audio record for aeons since going to JJOS from WakaiOS. I've posted about how I really, really, really, really, etc want to be able to punch-in audio record.

I have JJOS2XL.

You can choose the bar the recording will start at.

It is not possible to punch in record using the audio tracks.

Like le rat says, you can choose a bar to start recording from, but there is no punch-in record method. You have to manually stop everything then hit Rec+Play to record audio, but you can choose which bar it starts to rec+play from.

I wish overdub and punch-in record would work on audio tracks
