MPC 1000 No grid edit

Hi There,
Bought an MPC1000 with jjos2xl software about 6 months ago, and everything has been working fine up until now. Today I switched on and discovered I can no longer access the grid edit page also the window button light stays on. Am I just doing something stupid or has anyone else had this problem?

The window button is alway lit when theres an optional page for the parameter selected.
How do you access the grid edit, mode+pad15? There might be a problem with the pad, else your main button might be dying (as does mine).

Thanks for the pointer. Yeah I realised after the fact that this is normal with the window button light. After further investigation I also found the grid edit on pad 15. However this is not how I accessed grid edit mode up until now. Previously I was able to access grid mode from the main page by hitting main (or window can't remember which) but it was very cool, now this just seems to take me back to the disk load page.
I wondered if this was some sort of user macro from the previous owner? also I should add that my one year old son was knocking out some beats and may have inadvertantly pressed a weird button combination (he's into destructive industrial minimalism).
Anymore feedback would be appreciated.

Depending on what JJ OS youre on i think you have the option of changing the MODE shortcuts, check the manual.
