Why are my samples stopping!?

I have one track going and when I move on to a second track to begin layering some drum sounds it cuts into the previous sequence! So you know everything is set to Mono and I am only using like 4 or 5 voices at the moment runnung JJOS1

What happens if you change that?

make sure its not the same program on the 2 tracks if program is set to mono.
