samples cutting off when I program to many sounds

I have put my foot in my mouth by questioning the functionality of jjos and the polyphony issue. My samples were using up polyphony because They were a batch that i had not properly trimmed. They had been chopped in sound forge at the start points but not end points. so in essence i was triggering 5 second long drum samples. My bad for even bringing this up.

It's pretty easy to eat up polyphony, but there's all kinds of ways around it. When you get to the point that resampling/sampling in mono still doesn't work, then it's time to look at an additional external sampler, or a bigger MPC. I've got my eye on the 4000 if I ever upgrade.
