main button

just got a new mpc1000 w jjos1 and the main button randomly stopped working its still intact n clicks down n everything whats wrong with this thing.

It sounds like it's broken. If the unit is new go to the dealer and get a new one. If that's not an option goto mpcstuff and buy a new switch:

no worries i took it apart n put it back together n it started working...cheap akai parts i guess.

you can buy just the button or tact switch, they break easy. Cheap fix tho.
