Hi peeps am new to the mpc 2500 infact am new to mpc in general so please forgive my greenness.
I have an mpc 2500 using jj os 2 which i purchased second hand
have been trying to get the sequencer to record and play back a sequence but am having no luck
I was reading through the manual section 12 about recording and playing back a sequence but the manual appears to be for the akai official os?
is there a manual to download for jjos?
the problem with the sequencer is that when in the main sequencer page i push down REC and PLAY START at the same time just as specified in the manual nothing happens.
but 2 symbols appear on the screen one in the left hand bottom underneath the track number which says NNC the other appears right next to the time sig in the top right hand part of the main sequencer page.
am just worried i might have a problem with the hardware or it might be that i am a pleb
any help anyone could give me would be much appreciated
