tap tempo and note repeat on same button SUCKS

Is there no ninja way of using another button for note repeat...!?
i hate it when i freestyle and accidentally hit taptempo when im playing around with note repeat..

that is really stupied by akai to put those two functions on one button!!!!

MODE + PAD 10 -> MISC tab: set TAP TEMPO to OFF.

Get a pedal for the tap tempo.
