Screen brightness problem!

Hey,

I have a big problem. A friend of mine was making a video for a track of mine. And in the vid i was randomly banging om my mpc1000 (jj os1). And i think i accidentaly turned the brightnes of the screen all the way up. But now i cant see a thing.. So can someone tell me step by step how to get there? I know it`s a stupid thing to do haha. But if it doesnt work maybe my display is broken..
