playing live with one pad (sample) set to loop & not others

Which edit screen gives you the access to change from one shot to one note? I am new to this but wish to play my sample continuously without holding the button down. I don't care how it gets done, if I could convert it to a sequence that would be great too! I am using the 2500. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just so that ya'll know, another way to do this if you really really needed to do it without the Numeric trick, would be to just record a minute or two of the loop running and put that sample on the pad. Treat it like a one-shot, an extremely long one shot. Just an Idea...
