Loading Multiple Files Without Restarting

I know this seems like a novice question, but i need to know how to load my different beat files without turning my MPC 1000 on and off. Since i've been using it, i have created multiple files containing the programs and sequences, but if i want to play the beats one after the other i've had to restart the MP by turning the main power source on and off. Seems like it would be something simple im just not getting...can anyone help asap?!

isn't there a "purge" button on the load screen??

You should be saving your "entire project" when you load the .prj file it will clear your memory and replace the current song.

When loading in any folder u have the option the erase the memory first.

this is the most asked question on this forum, man... please spend some more time reading through older posts before starting a new one... especially if you know your question is a basic one. there is also a search engine on this forum which can help you narrow it down to a few results...
