Hi there,

is there a way with the jj os2XL to route i.e. a clicktrack to output 2 and four to maybe six sample-tracks to another output PLUS playing the arpeggiator live with a synth over midi connection at the same time?

thanks for your reply!

ps: any instabilities known? i want to usi it in a live context with a drummer (that's why the clicktrack needs an extra output)...

the click/metronome is only heard when recording - is that what you want? it can go to any of the outs though, but would be easier just sequencing a track/simul sequence with a click.

but basically, its a yes to all your questions (apart from the instabilities!)

Hey, thank you so much for your quick reply!

The Clicktrack as an audio track seems to be a great idea.

One more question in matter of the arpeggiator:

Is it live-quantized?

(I'd connect the midi in and the midi out between a synth and the mpc (both ways).)

The click can be set to sound during playback too.

The arp is not quantized, as in if you play the chord not on time the whole arp will be shifted accordingly.

OS XL is stable, as long as you don“t forget to do the factory reset (power up while pressing erase) after installation.

I dunno if I got that right, but is it still in time, if i press the arp-key a little too late?

Could I say, that the arpeggiator is constantly running in the background and only the pressed key is setting the root note and the midi signal from the arp in?

thx

thank you for your reply!

so there's no possibility to play the arpeggiator in synch to the midi clock?

what if the clock is running? am I marking the arpeggio everytime as "1" as I press a key? Somehow the arpeggiator has to be rather slave then master!?

sorry that I have to bother you again, but the arpeggiator is the USP of the XL version to me.
thx!
