SAMPLES ONLY PLAY TWO AT A TIME?

i jus copped this mpc 1000 running JJos 4.99 from the pawn shop about a week ago. i can play/record drum tracks and pre-loaded jazz samples on the first owners compact flash. i uploaded a few wav. files from looperman(not mp3) onto the mpc, trimed them and made a new program. first, i recorded a simple 3 sample drum loop, then if i play the drumtrack back and play any other sample while the drum is playing back, or even if i record on another sequence it still happens.... ive tried with other wav files too... something i am doing wrong? or a tech problem?

What is "It" which is happening? You say something is happening, but you haven't defined the problem. I'd like to help, but I don't know what's wrong....

sorry i didnt really proofread all that.
the samples cut into the other samples, the drumtrack will stop playing and the other sample with play then the drums will resume

Change your program settings from MONO to POLY.
