Deleting Notes On the Fly?

Hi - When I make improvise with others on my MPC, I build up sequences through live recording, and muting/unmuting tracks. While doing this I found it would be very useful to be able to delete "mistakes" while recording. is there anyway to do this?

shot in the dark.....how about the erase button?

lulz. been using the mpc for ~1 year and never even acknowledged that button was there. thanks for pointing that out.
