"Translating" Aftertouch in Midi-CC data?

Hey everybody,

I'm using the MPC (OX2XL) with my MicroKorg, wich lacks Aftertouch sensitivity.
Is there a way to send the Aftertouch-data from the MPC to an Midi-CC (for example 74 - Cutoff, to create a wobble-bass ) ?
I think thats not possible inside the mpc, but maybe with the help of a DAW (I'm using Logic) or virtual patchbay?

It is possible to use Aftertouch for controlling filter cutoff inside MPC (look for aftertouch settings on filter page).
But it is not possible to program it using DAW, cause midi input is not sensible to aftertouch data (maybe this is a bug?). You can do this inside MPC only.

aftertouch (key and channel) should be transmittable by the MPC according to the midi implementation tables in the manual. are you wanting to send it to the microkorg as part of a sequence using the mpc pads? you could also maybe send it to CC-74 specifically by setting up a QLINK on that CC number

The mpc doesn't send 'aftertouch' it sends 'poly pressure' (be sure to set MIDI out after touch to YES on the mpc), so yes, you can control whatever you like with the poly pressure midi data coming out of the mpc.
I'm no midi expert but apparently Aftertouch and Poly Pressure are essentially the same. If you record yourself pressing a pad into Cubase you will see loads of poly pressure data but no aftertouch data.
