JJ OS Upgrade from 3.08

I just got an MPC 1000 on eBay installed with JJ OS 3.08. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to upgrade to something a little more current or if this is still good. Also, if I would want to upgrade, what would be a good one to get?

the current version of the free JJOS is 3.12 - you might as well upgrade

personally, I use JJ OS1, which you need to pay for to be able to save programs, but it's well worth it in my opinion
