Is there a Pad Mute existing?

We have requested a "explode" feature several times which consists in automatizing that process (of moving pad events to its own track). Maybe the time has come to request it one more time

Got a response from JJ's assistant : he already tried to implement PAD MUTE in the Track mute screen but there was a problem with recording so he stopped the process.

Explode to multiple tracks sounds like an excellent idea
Would be good if you could also choose groups to explode, f.e.:

PAD1, PAD2, PAD3 - all kick drums
PAD4, PAD5, PAD6 - all snares
PAD7, PAD8 - closed hats

Each of the groups get split to their own track and all other used pads get split to different tracks if you don't associate a group.

For the tech: could make it so that every time you create a group of pads the group number increments ready to create another group of pads. All the rest of the ungrouped used pads (in the track) get split/exploded to individual tracks.

So I got another mail from him asking me if that's not a problem if the PAD MUTE function has no recording capacity. If that doesn't bother a lot of users he could ask JJ to implement it again. That's why I want to know what do you all think about it.

It seems it's not possible to add PAD MUTE on os2xl so JJ is working on automatizing that "pad event move to other track" process. I have transmitted your thought about GROUPS Jimmie. I have also asked if it was possible to set the first bar before exploding tracks.

Wait and see now.

i was one of the original requesters of this. glad to see he is finally doing it but wish it could also be implemented on os 2.
