Deleting programs?

When i delete a a program on my 2500 the samples remain in memory. Is there a way to delete a programs with all the samples @ one time, other than delete program and then purge?

to my knowledge... no. you must purge everytime. it's annoying, i agree. you upgraded your ram? if you have it shouldn't be so bad.

i'm sure JJ has included something on this to delete samples from redundant programs..
