Back to the old school mpc2500 format without the bullshit.

Just got the Japan Jenius system on my mpc. I hate it. Its so much more difficult and ruins the simplicity that the mpc2500 used to have. Is there ANY and I mean any possible way to downgrade to the V1.23 or maybe get something thats reminiscent or similar. Anything would really help. I've never been more frustrated in my with making music in my life.

BTW, I had the V1.24 but the slow chop shop was too much for me.

Right now I'm using the JJ OS 3.10 version. The timing feels so awkward to me. I check the time correct and change the note value to off because I never quantize . This is mess

you got to download and re-install the akai OS.

1.24 is available at akaipro.com

1.23 : I don't know where you can get this one, isn't 1.24 good enough (should be better than 1.23...?)
