Bug Fixes: MPC2500 OS-XL Ver2.03 20-JAN-2010
-----------------------------------------------------------
1. When a multi timbre is ON, "Wait for key" does not work by MIDI IN NOTE.

Similarly arpeggiator does not work.
Notes
Arpeggiator works only at an active track.
Moreover, a chord does not work to MIDI IN NOTE.

2. [MAIN]

F1(LOOP)
The number of Bars of a loop differs from the number of Bars of a sequence.

3. AFTER may be set to ON by an audio track.

Notes: Q-link does not work by an audio track.

4. The level of the audio track and Input Thru is decreasing.

5. A program cannot be chosen in the mode of Q-Link.

Now, what is this supposed to mean? Got worried, opened a project I last worked on XL 1.48 with Q-links assigned to audio tracks - they still work just fine.

What? :?

it's a bug fix, (bug fix : fixed bugs list) so "does not work" means "now DOES work"

it may have been a bug between 2.00 and 2.03, but not a bug before 2.00 I guess...

cheers

btw, nice mpc-cat picture :o

bug of q-link is:

1) u create 3 programms
2) open mode+pad1
3) chose pgm
4) scroll data 10 times clockwise
5) then to get back to first your pgm you need to get ~10 times antclockwise not 3 times

Well, might be that. I'm wondering, why is it written in blue in the manual and bug list? Blue seems to mean "notes" in JJ-speak... Anyway, Q-links seem to be working, must do some more testing.

Thanks! She is very well trained at Destructive Editing on the MPC :)

Concerning point 3, another translation could be : Although Q links shouldn't work with audiotracks, the after key turns on. I don't use the Q links but I guess the after key don't work anymore if you want to use a Q link with an audiotrack in that release.

there was a point 6 for the mpc1000 update.

6. When a loop is set to 1-1 by an audio track, it will crash, if it plays.

Now, there is a new explanation - and I think I get it this time :)

Notes
Q-link does not work by an audio track.
Q1 of an audio track and Q2 are not Q-link, and they only mean a slider.
