my guess is JJ ran out of numbers when it got to .99 so appended letters to the end, as in 4.99A, 4.99B, 4.99C ... 4.99L

There is a list of all bug fixes and additions. Very easy to find. Hint: JJ OS site.

You don't have to buy it again. Just download and update.

You won't lose anything on your hard disk. You have made backups of your HD anyway, haven't you?

Hi all, finally got around to updating JJOS 4.99L but a few things happened - Here goes:

I did it via Mac and backed up HD so all cool there.

1. Downloaded updated file and dragged it to my mac desktop then dragged to MPC icon on desktop, simple.
2. MPC Screen said "accessing" every few seconds and that's it nothing else.
3. I hit load then my Mac said "device removal wasn't done correctly"... so MPC dropped out.
4.I reloaded and it still shows JJ OS4.99 so i don't know if it has updated or not?? the binary file i dragged across is sitting in my hd files.

Whatever assistance anyone can offer is greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

A.
