Bug Fixes: MPC2500 OS-XL Ver2.10 07-FEB-2011
-----------------------------------------------------------
1. [PROGRAM]

[LAYER]
[LEVEL]
Input of a numeric key cannot be performed.

[Sample list]
A sample will be select, even if it closes a window by F6 (CANCEL) key after performing PURGE.

2. [STEP EDIT]

An active track will be influenced by the data of other channels, when a multi timbre is ON. (A display is strange)

<<Addition>>
"TRACK+", "TRACK-", "SEQUENCE+", and "SEQUENCE-" were added to the foot switch.

GREAT ONE!!

what footswitch is the best for that use? is there a simple footswitch controller that could control these 2/4 functions, or do we have to use 2 footswitches??

cheers

Impressive. The foot switch addition should be extremely useful for live playing. Good work!

I reported this bug on friday, now it's fixed. Great!

A guy on this forum said that his machine acted funny (timing problems) when he maxed out all his 32 voices. Sounds like JJ made it so that the voices degraded gracefully when maxed, instead of messing with the cpu... or somethin...

like, implementing "classical voice steal"? I thought this voice stealing was something like hardware default processing, because it is quite universal (digital and analog synths, grooveboxes...)

anyway, any "improvement" that will avoid the mpc hiccups is pretty necessary,

thanks for that JJ

PS: I'm still with XL 1.46, pretty reliable (I could update to 1.48 though), and I'm waiting before upgrading to 2.xx because I'm afraid there is still some lots bugs, am I wrong?

is upgrading to 2.10 now quite "bug free"?

is the unofficial 2.xx beta testing phase over?

cheers

I'm totally guessing what JJ did with voice management improvement.

As far as still being on 1.46, I don't know how you cope with the timing problems which JJ fixed in 2.01, a la:

"

Bug Fixes: MPC2500 OS-XL Ver2.01 18-JAN-2011
-----------------------------------------------------------
1. [MAIN][NEXT SEQ][SONG]

When a sequence changes, a momentary delay arises. (Bug which existed from Ver1.38)
"

I found those timing problems to be enough for me to totally stop using my mpc until JJ acknowledged the problem and fixed it in JJOSXLv2.01
