Greetings.
so, i thought I was on to a winner when i discovered mute groups, the ability to push one pad, & others mute.
let me explain.
my live mixing revolves around muting/un-muting tracks. on the 1st page of the track mutes, I give myself 2 kik tracks, 4 bassline/lead tracks (midi synths), 2 snare tracks, 3 hi hat paterns, one 'TSSSS' track, one intro/outro track, and 3 background/fx tracks.
I have been hitting 2 pads simultaneously to un-mute one (bassline for example) and mute another one, to swap tracks.

When I read about mute groups, I was under the impression I could set it up so I could just hit one bassline pad, which would automatically mute the other 3 basslines, eliminating the chance of a miss-hit, and having 2 basslines going simultaneously :oops:
however, it doesn't seem to work that way. reading back through it, it seems that just works for samples in a program, not the track mutes.
So, can it work with track mutes? is there a way?
Many thanks.

that's an interesting point. I definitely would use such a feature, that, I'm afraid, is not available for now.

As for external midi control for these track mutes (I could then use my padkontrol to emulate these track groups, with the freebie editor for mac called "farmpad"...)

Put that feature on the request list!

cheers

Glad you mentioned this. I too struggled with this function at one point, thinking I'd get the results as yours.

wheeww!!
And I thought it was just me!
