NOTE:: THIS IS MY FIRST POST WITH ME ACTUALLY OWNING A 1000 SO BARE WITH ME
I have never had this problem before or at least i think i have. OK, so i sample through the record ins (L) and (R) all is still good after recording i assign the sample to pad 1, I go back to MAIN to figure out the tempo since tempo detect is always a little more than double the actual speed. Everything is still peachy until i go to TRIM. I trim up a little on the front and back of the sample and EDIT then i discard im left with what i want so, next i get chopping i make about 18 small chops and then i hit CONVRT. sliced sample, release: 10, make new pgrm: yes I hit DO IT go to MAIN to listen to my chops all together (this is the bad part) and they all sound like they have had the highs and lows taken out and your left with a slightly distorted mid. Like i said i have never had this problem before so i think it can be solved by turning off the mpc but i dont very much want to do that yet
