denomination question

I'm looking for very low kicks or sounds that you put under the kicks like the ones in e.g. Wacka Flocka's Hard in the paint, that you can use instead of a bassline. In my akai I've got one such sound it's called "808". Could anybody tell me the name of this sound so I can find it easier?? PEACE!

or a simple sine wave with around 600 to 1000ms decay, tuned down accordingly to your song's tune, and if layered with a kick, delayed a bit so as the kick attack don"t mess with this sub's attack.
