Main volume & screen contrast questions?

Hi all,

1. I am using the digital out of the MPC, the main volume knob on the front panel has no effect on the volume of the sound at all, is this because I am using the digital out, or is my volume knob fcuk'd?

2. I updated to the latest free jjos recently, and my screen contrast is a little out but holding the shift and turning the dial has no effect, how can i adjust the contrast of the screen?

if u need to know what level your MPC is running the digital outs at, u can set it up at MODE+OTHER, "Master Level: xxdB".
(actually - i think this is for both dig out and main analog levels too)

its good to get to (fairly) quickly if suddenly u need it cranking down - with the lack of a dig/vol knob on the front panel, and your only ever using digital outs.

sometimes after an upgrade or other major changes, this setting can be affected. so check u are at the proper level for your setup. after each of these.

nah - its a bit alright, but doesnt really have much character thats not already pasted frequently globally and other 'lys

well its tricky this innit, cos, its got good vocoders, and that gets it in the door, but very suspicious of this. doesnt really reek of jokes as much as a lack of irono-high-disengenuous-ness
