say i have 10 midi notes and i want to make all the velocities and duration the same, do i have to go through each one individually or is it possible to change them all at the same time.. when i highlight the group of notes the EDIT function disappears ..

MODE>PAD15> TRACK set to MIDI. i hold NR and scroll over the notes. EDIT is normally on F5 but it disappears when i highlight multiple notes..

nevermind i found this in the manual..

NOTE: You can only select and edit one MIDI note event
at a time!

You have to use the step edit window - this allows you to edit velocities or durations of many or just one midi note at a time. try this and use the range to determine the what notes on what track are edited. Ie, change duratation to 18 of all notes from 1:1:00-1:3:00 (first half of bar)
