with the last update JJ changed the f1 key - you used to be able to toggle loop on/off but not anymore - you have to navigate to the top and move the data wheel.
Although I like the way changing the bars now works I did like the old way you could turn the loop off like that. When i play live i use a combination of recording /layering the pads and live playing without the sequencer on.. turning the loop off gives me an easy way to move from a looped recording to just live playing as i can time the stop without having to hit the button at the same time as i want to start playing pads ( i use the footswitches for other things to so cant do that either)
anyone think of any one button shortcuts for this? I was thinking that the erase key has no use during playback so maybe that'd work ? Alternatively the note repeat button could merge with the t.c. screen as they do similar things and f1 could be replaced with a simple loop on/off...
I did post a "macro" in my other thread which can do this in certain situations (the macro depends where the cursor is located - so is not a true solution) but feel it'd be good to have a dedicated button for it.
any thoughts?
