I posted this in the 1000 board but no none had an answer...

I know I can change the currently playing sequence by sending a program change from an external MIDI device.

Is there a way to change the sequence internally by embedding a Program Change in the currently playing sequence on the MPC itself?

Anyone?

higlight the sequence and hit the jog wheel or the + or - keys, it will change to either the next or the sequence before the current one

Thanks for your reply!

But what if the sequence you want to jump to is far from the currently playing one? You'd have to be really quick especially if the currently playing sequence is only one bar long..

I use my MPC along with some synths and by having it jump to another sequence via program change would allow me less interaction during live performances..

You can program your sequences in song mode. Or you can just use the next sequence button where each pad represents a different sequence. 8)

Do you know what kinda of program change message I would need to change to e.g. sequence 10? I don't think manual explains that.

thanks
