Recording MAIN OUT into an audio track problem..?

I'm trying to record the MAIN OUT signal into an audio track, but all I get recorded is the metronome click. Am I doing something wrong? Or is this a bug/drawback of the 3.12 version?

p.s. recording through MODE/RECORD works fine

first, you have to turn off the metronome. Second, check and see if you have solo enabled and check to make sure the track(s) you want to record isn't muted.

I tried something different. Instead of pressing RECORD + PLAY I pressed OVERDUB + PLAY, and it works fine. The only thing is that the level of the recorded audio is louder than that of the samples in the DRUM track.
