Ableton Live > MPC1000 sync with OSJJ 2 XL

Hello,

Does the Ableton Live 8 (as Master) >> MPC1000 (as Slave) synchronization work 100% fine with OS JJ 2 XL ?

I remember having problems some months ago about sync... Does it work 100% now ?

MIDI Clock or MIDI Time Code ?

I want to be sure before beginning some recordings

Yes, very well if you keep one thing in mind-- It seems to take a second to gain sync when playback begins. Allow space before the recording begins, if you plan on tracking out like this. Using Ableton 8 and OS2XL.

Ok thanks ! I will record with MPC1000=slave, Live=master

I also tried the other side : MPC1000=master, Live=slave, but in this mode, I was totally unable to record anything in Live!
How to record in Live with Live sync=slave ?

It does work. Not as well as it does as the master, though. Make sure clicking the sync button in the upper left corner, I missed that at first.
