I'm just about out of time today playing around in the studio, was just working on some glitchy lo-fi sounds... nothing too special, but somebody here might get a kick out of them. These clips aren't quite to the level I'd like, but hey I'm rusty so give me a break. And they are free so you can do what you want with them.

The .zip file is from OS2XL 3.11, if you wanted to load the entire (well what is there) project.

The drum loop got chopped up so both the loop and the drums are there. The bass line and pianos are still looped up, I didn't get around to chopping them up. I left in the midi tracks for the bass and piano if anybody cared what the note progressions were. My playing was a bit sloppy so yeah I know there are a handful of ghost notes and stuff, feel free to clean them up :P

So here's the files, for what they are! http://www.neartao.com/Misc/LONG_TIME.zip

Yeah, going through a 12-bit to 8-bit down step process For a few of the sounds. The rest are just straight down to 8-bit.

To be more precise, I'm sweetening some of the samples on an S950 to get it pumped up a tad and then as eimer said decimating it through an OTO Biscuit to get that 8-bit crunch.

Here's a few more sounds for those who are interested... again JJOS OS2XL 3.11. I imagine these will be a tad more interesting to most users. Mostly abused samples with some essentially clean strings thrown in. This might be a project to try and finish but if anybody wants them feel free to have fun. http://www.neartao.com/Misc/WHY_WAIT.zip
