I've hooked up my 2500 as a slave with Logic Pro. I'm able to trigger notes but there is no velocity sensitivy. Any ideas how to fix this? Cheers

OK, I worked it out. I checked the JJ OS-XL manual: "When [FULL LEVEL] button is ON (the LED is lit), the velocity of MIDI IN NOTE is also set to FULL LEVEL." That was it. The button was lit.

BUT, now I'm having issues slaving to my DAW. Wanna trigger samples from the mpc. Every time I load a bank the samples get messed with, pitched up and down. Seems like the mpc is receiving unwanted MIDI information.. Any ideas?

Hey thanks. I'm using Logic 9. I think I have it worked out. I had Mode set to OFF in MIDI/SYNC, now its on MIDI TIME CODE and seems to be working ok. Although it still did the random pitch thing a couple times for a split second then went back to normal.

I've been struggling with the logic sync for a minute. I followed the tutorials on here and youtube but I still get multiple midi messages, like the pitch bend. Any luck on getting it perfect?
