other comparison abysmal JJOS Vs AKAI OS is as follows:

turn on the mpc
press mode + 10 = master level: -12 [default]
jog wheel left or right ( with different settings(*) on both operating systems)

my observation is as follows:

in JJOSS has much more noise at (*)db.

anyone know why this is?

thanks.

do you not sampling? never?
Preparations for the test on both operating systems:
considerably high-volume for speakers
input thru: on
rec gain : knob at maximun
main volume : knob at maximun
(mode + 10) master level: set at 0 db, -6 db, -12 db, -18 db, -24 db, -30 db, -36 db, -42 db.

and comparison in both OS.

for jjos
0 db = much noise /- 42 db = low noise
--------------------------------------------
for akai os
equal noise for all settings ( 0 db - -42 db )

thanks for all your attention.

any users of 2500 to confirm this?

thanks.

If you sample in a realistic way, is the noise a problematic thing?

Sometimes, of course.
