actualy you're supposed to use window button while booting...but it doesn't work, says cant find good OS file. I have nthe free JJOS .bin on my cf card and it doesnt work.

also doesnt work when going through the LOAD screen. says "END OF FILE"

my bad - tap tempo is used to switch in jjosxl. You might have to start from scratch i rekon. Go back to Akai sys, put on a new version of the free jjos in case file is corrupted or whatever, and follow instructions. Maybe even download it again as it is really small. just in case. good luck

thanks, i fixed it... my CF was corrupted. I formatted in via my computer, not thru the MPC. not sure why I did that but yeah. after formatting the CF, i was able to install.

ps: Brisbane was nice, backpacked starting from Brisbane up the east coast to the Daintree, then off to Thailand last year.

stayed in Dutton Park around UQ.

Sweet as mate. I am glad you liked this big country town Brisbane and hope it was sunny. Glad you fixed CF corruption
