Hey guys I was just wondering I see a lot of people on here talking about how they can use other jog wheels through midi to control the mpc jog wheel with the data + and data - in button mode. I am curious how you would do this with some like a rotary encoder on the mpk because they produce only nprn dec/inc or midi cc. midi note or cc midi to button mode only has the data wheel inc/dec as an option under note on so as far as I can see you can only use other keys or pads to control the jog wheel which would be useless. Am I correct or is there another workaround because if so I would love to hear it. Thanks in advance.

hmm, use a vst midi converter plugin to translate the cc output from the rotary encoder to a midi note?

not at all ideal. would be nice if the rotary encoder output midi notes instead of ccs.
