Help! No sound coming out my mpc 1000

I have it hooked up to some M-audio moniters from the stereo out to the input. I don't know whats the deal, I had these same moniters connected to a 2000xl and they worked just fine.

the samples I'm trying to preview are all .wav

its running on JJ OS version 3.12
