What's this for?
I'm pressing the loop button in a mutli-bar sequence so it will loop the bar currently played back, but if I hit loop again it goes to OFF. Would be nice if there would be a way to set it back to 1-END without having to move the cursor to the loop field and using the data wheel.

No direct shortcut but STOP+PLAY START can help.
Let's say you have 100bars and you're looping 61 to 81, if you press the above key combination it will play from bar 1 and that let you some time to move the data wheel + TAP TEMPO in the bar selection field or only the data wheel if you have only 4, 8 or 16 bars.
Partially related but I've just checked inside the MPC and noticed the numeric key doesn't work over the bars range.
There's still that issue of LOOP automatically set to OFF after changing bars numbers.
I think that part of main screen needs some improvements.

Not sure if I understand what you want to do, but maybe you can copy the sequences and set multiple loop ranges, then use "immediate play" in next sequence.
