jjos on multiple mpc2500's can I buy a license?

Do I have to pay the full amount for each 2500 I have or can you purchase a license for a discounted price?

Nope.
You could buy it for one and load projects to other MPC, you just cant save. Each license number is specific to that particular MPC. So code supplied will only work on that one MPC and not other ones with same OS. So get one and then when you want to save on both you will have to buy another OS license.

Better off buying the OS, support JJ and his further development, and saving wear and tear on your MPC by having to keep it powered up because you can't save your work. Then of course leaving the MPC powered for long periods of time will make the unit freeze up, and you have no choice but to reboot and lose your work.
I was running XL until I sold my 1000. When I come up on a 2500, I won't hesitate to spend the money all over again for the OS if it's not already installed. Aside of that, the OS adds resale value to your MPC by $100. So it's worth the investment all around.
