resolved (MAIN button can be assigned to w/e)

SO in JJOSXL the MAIN BUTTON now takes us to the record screen. I find this really bad myself, partly because I use grid edit more, and that was how it was set and am use to it. But also the fact that the sequence will glitch and I find it can be either good glitchy which is cute, or just damn right destroys the flow you got going.
So wouldnt choice be good or is every one but me not using grid edit a lot? I think i would use NUMERIC key instead as I hardly use it at all. So i could easily substitute that key myself. Im going back to loop edit mode see ya

Did he really do that?! I barely use my MPC anymore. Yet I'm PISSED. Main to grid edit always worked and made sense to me. It became like muscle memory.

MAIN button is freely assignable. Hold it down while pressing a pad and it gets set to that. Ez and perfect. Nothing to worry about.

As soon as i read your post MTC i checked it out and you are right. Where was that in the manual? I didnt notice it. Man that was a life saver thanks. Yeah its the HOLD down the MAIN button and pad that does it.
