I need your help: I would like to make a sample looping when I trigger it... Is this possible on JJOS2xl 1.17 ?

thank you! :-D
hey why dont you update? are you using OS2 or XL?
Might be a good idea to update to new OS as you paid for it right. And you will get more features as well if your on JJOSXL

It might be possible with the old pad bank + pad shortcut but as suggested upgrade and use the L&H type in program mode (note on> one shot> loop&hold)

Main Limitations that come to my mind now are : it will play for a max duration of 65000 (approximately 4/5 minutes at 120bpm, enough in 99% of cases) and when playing without recording if you switch tracks and play the same pad the loop will be stopped. http://www.mpc-forums.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=156527
Many incompatibilities with other functions too.

Useful tip : if you assign the L&H samples to the same mute group, you can make them cut between themselves. Otherwise you often have to press the pad twice.

I've bought my mpc1000 used, and when I turn it on it tells me I can switch to OS1 so I guess the previous owner installed XL on top of OS1... so, If I wan to upgrade, what sould I do? (=what option I should choose)
